We’re pretty thrilled around here after hearing late last week the very exciting news that the ILN was shortlisted for the second year in a row for Global Network of the Year by The Lawyer. This is only the second year the category has been included for consideration the awards.
Judges in this category examine evidence of strategic vision, with particular focus on cross-border initiatives, consistent excellence in the delivery of legal services and outstanding talent management, in evaluating the submissions. We’re incredibly proud that the strong relationships that we have with our members (and among our members!) provide us with the support that allow us to develop innovative marketing strategies that make such honors possible.
Two of our firms were also shortlisted in five of the 24 total categories, including a huge nod to the ILN’s Baltic member, Tark Grunte & Sutkiene, whose managing partner, Eugenija Sutkiene, is a finalist for European managing partner of the year. Other nominations include:
- Law firm of the year: Central Europe – Kochanski Zieba & Partners
- Law firm of the year: The Baltics – Tark Grunte Sutkiene
- European banking and finance deal of the year: Tark Grunte Sutkiene
- European corporate deal of the year: Tark Grunte Sutkiene
- European managing partner of the year: Eugenija Sutkiene, Tark Grunte Sutkiene
We’re incredibly proud of the work that our member firms do, both individually and collaboratively, and look forward to continuing to work together to prove ourselves worthy of this nomination. The full list for Global Network of the Year includes:
