The ILN is proud to announce our latest firm of the month, Goodwins Law Corporation, Singapore!
This year is a special year for Goodwins, as it is celebrating its 20th anniversary in the legal industry. Being a commercially-minded law firm, with a deep understanding and appreciation of the realities in the commercial world, Goodwins focuses on the things that matter to its clients, which is reflected in its culture of Client Care and Quality Control.

With 20 years under its belt, and its lawyers having more than 100 years of practice experience combined, Goodwins has proven strengths not only in traditional legal work such as in Insurance and Financial Services, Capital Markets, Corporate, Estates and Trusts, and Real Property, but it also has niche practices in Data Protection, eCommerce law, and ICT law. The Chairman of Goodwins, Dr. Toh See Kiat, is actively involved in local and international eCommerce organizations and has drafted eCommerce legislation for countries such as UAE. Despite his heavy schedule as a law professor in the local university, Dr. Toh was also a former legislator in the Singapore Parliament. Further, Dr. Toh was happy to have served on the ILN Board from 2008 to 2014. Ms. Ang Kim Lan, the Managing Director of Goodwins, and Ms. Pauline Ang, both senior and experienced lawyers in their respective fields, are honoured to be able to attend several ILN conferences in the past and getting to know the ILN family better.
Goodwins acts for both Singaporean and International entities in the Corporate, Commercial and Public Sector as well as Private Clients. Its clientele includes governments, and insurers and capital markets service providers who are amongst the top players in the world. Today, Goodwins’ main areas of work are in Corporate & Commercial Law, Legislative Drafting, Insurance, and Financial Services, Capital Markets, Infocomms Technology & E-Commerce, International Development & Transactions, Estates and Trusts, ADR, Mediation & Mediation Advocacy, Litigation and Arbitration, Competition/Antitrust, Clinical Trials and Healthcare, and Real Property.
The year 2021 also marks the 19th year that Goodwins has been with the ILN. We at Goodwins Law Corporation are thankful for the great friendships formed at the various international gatherings that we have attended these past 18 years. We look forward to many more years of friendship and collaboration with our fellow ILN member firms.
